In Exile is the website of the young British-born, New Zealand-based writer, James Rowland. He attempts to write in a broad range of topics, from speculative short fiction to scripts to legal research. Sometimes he succeeds.
James is still very much at the aspiring stage of a writer’s career, with a few publication credits to his belt. You can find those stories on this website. Occasionally, people would ask for a website to link to, and he would have nothing to give them. In Exile changes that.
Outside of writing, James is a keen photographer, a voracious reader, a fan of British comedy, and a spectator sportsman. He used to play cricket until he realised that adults have less time to spend standing in a field for six hours than children do.
